U.S. Marines and Sailors assigned to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa, Uganda Theater Security Cooperation team, hold a graduation for their students of the Ugandan People’s Defense Force at Camp Singo, Uganda, June 8, 2018. The TSC team spent the last two months training alongside their partner nation to better enhance the UPDF’s readiness for crisis response as well as their overall skills in motor transportation, heavy equipment operations, maintenance, communications, supply, civil engineering and utilities management. As a sign of goodwill, the Department of Defense also turned over troop transportation vehicles along with heavy machinery, generators and medical and communications equipment. The equipment is meant to further their capabilities as a force and ensure they will be able to better help their citizens and more effectively respond to crises (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
