(June. 13, 2018) Electronics Technician Communication Submarine 3rd Class John Christenson assigned to the Los Angeles-class, fast-attack submarine USS Providence (SSN 719) consolidates documents to be shredded during Naval Submarine Support Center, New London’s industrial health inspection to support the re-opening of an industrial shredding facility on Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton Conn. Jun. 13. An industrial health inspection is an evaluation of work facilities by an industrial hygienist to ensure the work space will be a hazard free environment and determine which personal protective gear will be used during operations.
