Sterling Heights, Mich., native Pfc. Robert A. Weimer suffered two heat-related injuries in the Afghan heat. He is no longer able to perform his duties as a rifleman with 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, but instead of letting that affect him negatively, he has taken the initiative to train with the corpsmen in his unit and learn a valuable skill set.
