Gen. Mary Link. U.S. Army Reserve Col. Todd Traver assumed command of APMC from Col. Regina Powell, the outgoing commander, during the ceremony held on Monday, June 18, 2018 in Forest Park, Georgia. The Change of Command ceremony symbolizes the continuation of leadership and unit identity despite the change of individual authority. It also represents the transfer of power from one leader to another; passing the ceremonial flag from outgoing to incoming commander is a physical representation of that transfer.
