FORT LEE, Va. -- Command Sgt. Maj. Nathaniel Bartee Sr., Combined Arms Support Command CSM, reminds more than 1,500 military members in formation that they represent “the best of the best that America has to offer” during closing remarks for the installation’s Army Birthday Run June 14. The wrap-up ceremony also included the singing of happy birthday and the “Army Song,” with music provided by the 392nd Army Band. Later that day, the CSM joined Maj. Gen. Paul Hurley Jr., CASCOM and Fort Lee commanding general, for a lunchtime cake cutting ceremony at roughly the same location near Sgt. Seay Field adjacent to the command headquarters on A Avenue.
