U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Darrell Thornburgh, an 18th Contracting Squadron contracting officer from Kadena Air Base, Japan, fills out a purchase order for Pacific Angel 2018 engineers at a local hardware store in Suai, Timor-Leste, June 15, 2018. Thornburgh works hand-in-hand with his comptroller counterpart filling orders placed by the requestor who join them at the owning establishment to complete the transaction. This is the first of four humanitarian assistance engagements that make up PAC ANGEL 18. Later this summer, PACAF will conduct three additional Pacific Angels in Vietnam, Vanuatu and Sri Lanka.
