USACE is mission assigned by FEMA, at the request of PREPA, for spillway stabilization, waterline reconnection, channel reinforcement and stabilization work at the slope and spillway, and water gates repairs. In addition, USACE is in charge of the operation and maintenance of 10 water pumps to move water from the reservoir to the irrigation channel.
