(Jun. 24, 2018) A student designed autonomous robotic boat from the Georgia Institute of Technology attempts the follow the leader task during the finals of the 2018 International RoboBoat Competition held at Reed Canal Park in South Daytona, Fla. Sponsored by the Office of Naval Research, the behaviors demonstrated during the competition mimic tasks that are being developed for coastal surveillance, port security and other types of oceanographic operations.
