180624-N-AO674-1058 ATLANTIC OCEAN (June 24, 2018) The Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock landing ship USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43) steams behind the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) during an Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) integrated training exercise. The Kearsarge ARG is completing the Navy’s first East Coast Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT) exercise. SWATT is led by the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center and is designed to increase warfighting proficiency, lethality, and interoperability of participating units.
