180626-N-DZ642-0005 MEDITERRANEAN SEA (June 26, 2018) Sailors prepare to launch a rigid-hull inflatable boat (RHIB) aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG 60). Normandy is currently deployed as part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group. With Harry S. Truman as the flagship, deploying strike group assets include staffs, ships and aircraft of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 8, Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 28 and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 1; as well as the Sachsen-class German Frigate FGS Hessen (F 221).
