    TREK NAWA, Helmand province, Afghanistan — Petty Officer 3rd Class Kareen Busbee (right), a Myrtle Beach, S.C., native and a corpsman with Bravo Company, performs a post-blast examination on Lance Cpl. Paul Slater, a Tallahassee, Fla., native, after his Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle struck an improvised explosive device. Busbee is the only corpsman attached to the company’s mobile unit.
