Florida native Spc. Ivan Rodriguez helps Pfc. Gale Thurman of the 51st Transportation Company replace a cotter pin on a Rhino at Camp Adder, Iraq before convoying back to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. As the assigned driver to Command Sergeant Major of Joint Logistics Task Force 6’s, Rodriguez was required to participate in the mission as part of the Convoy Escort Team. The Rhino is one of the counter IED devices utilized by the Army to mitigate safety.
