Sgt. Ryan M. Krochmolny, machine gun section leader, Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, stands at attention as his citation for his Bronze Star with Combat 'V,' Sept. 1, 2011. Krochmolny said he takes the responsibility of being a leader of Marines seriously and feels he is responsible for bringing them home safely.
