As the sun set, the brigade command team, consisting of Col. Stanley Sliwinski, commander of the 101st Airborne (Air Assault) Sustainment Brigade and CSM Anthony B. McAdoo, command sergeant major for 101st Sustainment Brigade, ceremoniously uncased the colors, marking the beginning of the brigade’s fifth deployment to Afghanistan. The 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Sustainment Brigade "Lifeliners," held their color uncasing ceremony Saturday, June 30, in the “Eagle’s Nest,” on Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. The ceremony marked the brigade's readiness to support Operation Freedom’s Sentinel.
