Air Force veteran Stacey Pavenski, right, 46, of Palm Bay, Florida, walks during a 3K she organized to bring awareness to PTSD and traumatic brain injury disorders that lead 22 veterans a day to take their own lives. Her husband Air Force Master Sgt. Pete Pavenski took his own life Sept. 17, 2017. Joining forces with Mission 22, a non-profit organization, to put together the PTSD 3K walk-run on Florida’s Space Coast during PTSD Awareness Month. She is walking with her PTSD service therapy dog, Memphis Belle. Stacey’s PTSD 3K walk-run took place, Saturday, June 30, across from Patrick Air Force Base. Approximately 300 people registered.
