The site of an improvised explosive device blast is littered with vehicle parts along a convoy route Aug. 26, 2011. Marines and sailors with Marine Air-Ground Task Force Support Battalion 11.1, 2nd Marine Logistics Group (Forward), encountered multiple IEDs, ambushes and firefights during the 11-day convoy.
