The U.S. Army Drill Sergeant Academy Drill Sergeant Leaders from 3rd platoon “Knights” conducted a demonstration of Inspection Arms to the Drill Sergeant Candidates, July 6, Fort Jackson S.C. The candidates practiced movements several times of which was demonstrated by DSLs. The 3rd platoon Knights are currently in white phase, week 4 of the Drill Sergeant Academy Course. Only the most qualified NCOs are chosen to attend Drill Sergeant School, where they are trained to fulfill a role of utmost importance—the role of a Drill Sergeant.
