Maj. Gen. Ronald Clark, commanding general, 25th Infantry Division, welcomes guests and unit representatives to a Flying "V" Ceremony July 6 for the incoming 25th Infantry Division Deputy Commander for Operations, Col. Joel (JB) Vowell, at General's Loop, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. The Flying V Ceremony traditionally welcomes or honors senior Army officials when they assume duties, depart or retire from an Army command. The term "Flying V" refers to the way the colors are posted during the ceremony, which is V shaped.
