Coast Guard 13th District Master Chief Petty Officer Ryan Hooper, on-coming reserve command master chief, salutes Rear Adm. David Throop, commander, after Hooper assumed the duties of reserve district command master chief during a change-of-watch ceremony held in Seattle, July 9, 2018.

Hoopers salute in part concluded the official transfer of responsibility from Timothy Beard, the off-going reserve command master chief.
