One of the North Carolina Air National Guards first C-17 Globemaster III Aircraft tail 0183, sits on the flight line as it is prepped in the morning for an all day flight which will be the first C-17 mission for the 145th Airlift Wing at the North Carolina Air National Guard Base, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, July 9, 2018. In the background sits a different C-17, and one of the most recent additions to the 145th Airlift Wings fleet, so new that it still carries the tail flash of its former duty station.
