U.S. Army soldiers from Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 1st Squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Advise and Assist Brigade along with Iraqi soldiers from the 3rd Iraqi Army Division prepare to set up equipment in order to fire 81 mm mortar rounds. The Iraqi soldiers are going to show what they have what it takes to operate on their own. This training was conducted in support of Operation New Dawn at Contingency Operating Site Marez, Mosul, Iraq, Aug. 18, 2011.
