Commander, U.S. Coast Guard Atlantic Area Vice Adm. D. Brian Peterman and commander, U.S. Sixth Fleet Vice Adm. John Stufflebeem meet with Marines from the Marine Security Detachment at the U.S. Embassy. Stufflebeem and Peterman are leading a joint Navy and Coast Guard team that will travel throughout West Africa and the Gulf of Guinea to discuss maritime security and safety with local maritime officials and U.S. embassy country teams.
