Army Reserve Soldiers prepare to load the first of six vehicles onto the U.S. Army Vessel Malvern Hill LCU 2025 during Big Logistics Over-the-Shore West 2018 on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, July 11. Big LOTS West 18 is an annual Army Reserve, multi-echelon functional exercise designed for transportation units and sustainment commands to hone their expertise in port operations. More than 780 Soldiers are participating in three training locations: Port Hueneme, California, Joint Base Lewis-McChord and Tacoma, Washington.
