The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, under the direction of the Federal Emergency Management Agency and in partnership with the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services removed more than one million tons of fire-related debris left behind by the October 2017 Northern California wildfires that blazed through Sonoma County.
