MEDITERRANEAN SEA (July 6, 2018) Marines assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 162 (REIN), 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit pin on their Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) operator wings aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS New York (LPD 21) July 6, 2018 . Per the Commandant’s guidance, on Nov. 27, 2017, all Marines with the 7314 Military Occupational Specialty, UAS Operations Specialist and 7315, UAS MAGTF Electronic Warfare Officer, are eligible to wear the new breast insignia. While deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet Area of Operations, Marines from Marine Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron 2, Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 162 (Reinforced), 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, had the opportunity to pin their new insignia.
