Marines, sailors and civilians paid tribute to the victims of Sept. 11 during a morning colors ceremony in front of the headquarters building at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Friday. The memorial began with the raising of the colors and an invocation by 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing Chaplain Cmdr. James Goodbow. Gunnery Sgt. Donald J. Wilmot, a survivor of the attack on the Pentagon, spoke about his experience following the memorial.
