The Humvee Egress Assistance Trainer at Umatilla Chemical Depot in Hermiston, Ore., prepares soldiers for rollover incidents in a military vehicle by rotating a simulated humvee sideways to give soldiers a feel for what happens during a rollover incident. Once the trainer comes to a complete stop, either upside down or on its side, soldiers must safely exit the vehicle not knowing which, if any, doors will open.
