Grady, commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command, holds an all-hands call with students during a visit to Surface Warfare Officers School (SWOS), July 18. Grady discussed the importance of readiness and provided an opportunity for students and staff members to voice questions and concerns. Headquartered in Newport, SWOS readies seabound Sailors to serve on surface combatants as officers, enlisted engineers, and enlisted navigation professional and oversees nine learning sites worldwide, to fulfill the Navy’s mission in maintaining global maritime superiority.
