U.S. Marines with 1st Platoon, Charlie Company, 2D Reconnaissance Battalion, 2D Marine Division wait to begin a live fire exercise aboard Fort Pickett, Va., Sept. 14, 2011. The Reconnaissance Marines were qualifying from various distances to partake in a live fire room clearing exercise. More than 900 Marines and sailors will take part in the Deployment for Training exercise at Fort Pickett, Sept. 6-23.
