180715-N-WX059-0057 ATLANTIC OCEAN (July 15, 2018) USNS Grasp (T-ARS 51) sits off the coast of Long Island, New York, over the wreck of the World War I ship USS San Diego (ACR 6). Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit 2 Sailors are aboard USNS Grasp with Naval History and Heritage Command personnel to conduct inspections of San Diego and also participate in a wreath laying ceremony to commemorate the 100th anniversary of its sinking, honoring the six U.S. Navy Sailors who died on the ship.
