Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona – Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 11, 1st Marine Logistics Group, prepare an external load to be lifted by a CH-53E Super Stallion with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 462 during helicopter support team training aboard Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., July 19. The Marines conducting the HST training were being evaluated on their performance as a part of their Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation. Marines use the MCCRE to test units on a myriad of tasks in which the unit should be proficient in, oftentimes shortly before becoming part of a larger unit, such as a Marine Expeditionary Unit.
