Randall Hoffman, commanding officer of Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island Weapons and Field Training Battalion, and Chief Warrant Officer 3 Saul Cardenas, officer-in-charge of Parris Island's shooting team, observe Marines as they compete during the Hearst Doubles Match at Camp Perry Ohio July 31, 2018. The match was part of the Civilian Marksmanship Programs' National Matches, which are an annual sporting festival established by congress and President Roosevelt in 1903. The event welcomes over 6,000 participants, ranging from beginning shooters to the world’s top-performing competitors. Shooters wear custom-made shooting jackets that conform to their body type.
