During the Noble Partner 18 opening ceremony, Soldiers from the 2d Cavalry Regiment, the Panzergrenadierbataillon 391 and the Georgian Armed Forces conduct a combined troop air assault with air support from the 1st Battalion, 171st Aviation Regiment of the Georgia U.S. Army National Guard at the Vaziani Airfield, Georgia, Aug. 1, 2018. Noble Partner is a Georgian Armed Forces and U.S. Army Europe cooperatively-led exercise in its fourth iteration. The exercise is intended to support and enhance the readiness and interoperability of Georgia, the U.S. and participating nations during a multinational training operation.
