CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (July 27, 2018) -- Hospital Corpsman 1st Class (FMF) Toan T. Tran, from Lewisville, Texas, and a Tactical Combat Casualty Care instructor, demonstrates how to check for exit wounds after Hospitalman Sean Bronder performs a log roll on a simulated patient, and Hospitalman Tyler Klare readies an occlusive dressing for application over the wound during a Tactical Combat Casualty Care course at Naval Health Clinic Corpus Christi, Texas. Through the TCCC program, corpsmen will gain the skills, mind-set and knowledge to perform with confidence, and will improve their ability to limit preventable deaths on the battlefield.
