Randy Prince, an instrumentation, data and controls engineering tech at Arnold Air Force Base, performs validation and verification of DTS4050 firmware to ensure the digital temperature scanner is properly configured for testing at AEDC. Prince, with help from several other members of Team AEDC, including the Test and Communications Branch, the Test Operations and Sustainment contractor, Technical and Management Advisory Services and Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory, assisted in coming up with a plan to maintain the current calibration interval for the digital temperature scanners.
