New York State Divison of Military and Naval Affairs employee Lisa Bogardus, the sponsor of New York Naval Militia patrol boat LC-350, reads the official christening statement for the boat during a christening ceremony held at Jennings Landing park in Albany, N.Y. on Tuesday, August 7. Naval Militia Commander Don McKnight, the commander of the Naval Militia's Military Emergency Boat Service stands ready with the champaign bottle she'll soon break against the vessel. LC-350 is a 35-foot long, landing craft style boat made by Munson, a Washington State firm. The boat can carry 27 personel, three tonos of supplies, or a small truck.
