Approximately 70 volunteers assisted the Soldiers Undertaking Disabled Scuba (SUDS) program in an effort that allowed six wounded warrior veterans to scuba dive and explore the Atlantic Ocean at Cuzco Beach April 21. SUDS, a program that was created to provide therapy and rehabilitation to wounded service members, was founded in 2007 by John Thompson at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
