(July 18, 2018) Naval Aircrewman (Helicopter) 1st Class Jon Frankel, a water survival instructor at Recruit Training Command (RTC), instructs recruits before a 3rd class swim qualification at the USS Indianapolis pool. Recruits are required to pass the qualification in order to graduate from boot camp, which includes a 10-foot platform jump, 50 meter swim and a five-minute prone float.
