Sailors assigned to the mine countermeasures ship USS Defender (MCM 2) take pictures on Kaptai Lake during sightseeing tours hosted by the Bangladesh navy. Defender is in Chittagong as part of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training Bangladesh 2011. CARAT is a series of bilateral exercises held annually in Southeast Asia to strengthen relationships and enhance force readiness. Bangladesh is participating in this exercise for the first time.
