U.S. Army Paratroopers, assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, swing bar to bar during the obstacle course at Caserma Del Din, Vicenza Italy Aug. 10, 2018. The obstacle course challenges Soldiers in their endurance, form and ability to physically navigate difficult tasks. The course also demands Soldiers to push themselves to conquer fears and gain confidence in their accomplishments. The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army Contingency Response Force in Europe, capable of projecting ready forces anywhere in the U.S. European, Africa or Central Commands' areas of responsibility.
