ALPENA, Mich.-- Staff Sgt. Andrea Hallett, hydraulics specialist with the 127th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mich., repairs an A-10 Thunderbolt II on the flight line at the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center on Aug. 7, 2018. Hallett made the repair on a busy flight line during Exercise Northern Strike 18, while aircraft from the 107th Fighter Squadron, also out of Selfridge, Navy, Army and municipal aircraft were taking off and landing throughout the day. Northern Strike is a National Guard Bureau-sponsored exercise uniting approximately 5,000 service members from all branches of the Department of Defense and international and coalition partners.
