The 35th Commandant of the Marine Corps General James F. Amos presents a personalized coin to a Marine assigned to 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, at Combat Outpost Kahn Neshin, Helmand province, Afghanistan, Sept. 22, 2011. General Amos, along with the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Michael Barrett, traveled to Afghanistan to visit deployed service members throughout Regional Command (Southwest) and speak about recent events.
