Students in the Fort McCoy Noncommissioned Officer Academy’s Basic Leader Course march along an installation roadway Aug. 3, 2018, at Fort McCoy, Wis. The students were returning to their campus after completing their lunch meal at the dining facility in building 50. The NCO Academy was activated at Fort McCoy in 1988. The academy is one of the largest tenant organizations at the installation providing institutional training with more than 1,800 students attending annually for the Battle Staff Noncommissioned Officer Course and BLC.
