    Marine Rotational Force - Darwin

Lance Cpl. Michael J. Kohler, a towed artillery system technician with Mike Battery, 3rd Battalion, 11 Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, breaks up dirt with a pickax while digging an entrenchment for the M777 Howitzer as the Marines set up a firing position during training Aug. 8, 2018, at Mount Bundey Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia. This is the first time an entire artillery battery deployed in support of Marine Rotational Force – Darwin and demonstrates how the marine Air-Ground Task Force is equipped and organized to carry out national objectives in cooperation with international partners.
