A Local Afghan passes coalition forces as they provide security for a meeting between Mayor Aangar al Salam and coalition forces to discuss the recruitment and enrollment of Afghans into the Afghan Uniform Police in Shar-e Tiefer during National Training Center rotation 11-10, at Fort Irwin, Calif., Sept. 16, 2011. NTC is one of the last training evolutions prior to units being certified to deploy to their designated areas of operation.
