PACIFIC OCEAN – U.S. Marine Sgt. Wade Pawlisz, an armorer with the Command Element, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), checks serial numbers while issuing gear aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2), during a regularly scheduled deployment of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and the 13th MEU, August 3, 2018.
