HONOLULU, Hawaii (Aug. 15, 2018) – Pacific Ocean Division (POD), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Chief of Staff, Jim Proctor, visits the newly dedicated memorial stone at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, also known as Punchbowl, honoring American and Allied forces who were taken as Prisoners of War (POWs) following the first U.S. battles of World War II, the battle of Bataan and Corregidor in the Philippines.
