Fort Bliss, TX – Soldiers of the 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team’s 230th Brigade Support Battalion and 236th Brigade Engineer Battalion conduct security operations during their convoy to their staging areas to begin their missions. The operation is part of the 30th Armored Brigade's eXportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC) exercise. XCTX is one of the 30th’s largest exercises in recent history with over 4,000 Citizen-Soldiers from North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Minnesota, and the county of Moldova. They all will hone their combat skills of “Shoot, Move, Communicate and Sustain” in an austere environment for the next two weeks. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Sgt.
