Pfc. Fernando Maqueda, a field artillery Marine with 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, receives cleaning supplies from a local national August 11, 2018, Betsukai Town, Hokkaido, Japan, during Artillery Relocation Training Program 18-2. Marines with 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, were in Betsukai to participate in a community relations project in which they cleaned the Betsukai Town fair-grounds. ARTP 18-2 is a Japan-funded routine training exercise that allows Marines with 3/12, based out of Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, to conduct live- fire training in Japan.
