U.S. Army Christopher Ashey, 2nd Battalion, 113th Infantry, New Jersey Army National Guard, fires a M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System during joint training with the 113th Infantry and the Albanian special forces sniper teams at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Aug. 15, 2018. Albania has been a state partner with New Jersey since 2001. The National Guard State Partnership Program is a U.S. Department of Defense program managed by the National Guard that links U.S. States with partner countries around the world for the purpose of supporting the security cooperation objectives of the geographic Combatant Commanders.
